Agree that man reached the stage of recording history at/around 6k mark. Who cares how old the earth is? lol It's how long the sun lasts that really matters.
Thanks for the OP. I will look into that APP for my kidlet. He has an iPhone.

Perdurabo, I watched a movie recently called Pi that was all about the Talmud being a computer program. If you haven't seen it you might enjoy it.

Dude opined:
It is way too much work to have faith.
You haven't listened to cosmologists and physicists attempt to explain what happened before the "Big Bang". It's very much like a theological discussion except it's done with blackboards full of equations, most of them containing the infinity symbol.

The problem is that it can be used to undermine religion, and in many people's minds is one of the primary reasons they feel comfortable dismissing religion. And that's why alternate interpretations fall apart, by compromising the historical implications you also compromise the theological ones.

If only it were that organized.
Much of it resembles the rooms I encountered back in college, hung with tapestries and filled with smoke, while the Grateful Dead radiated from a tape player in the corner.

If we can still post about the original topic, ...
I use the Bible app too once in a while. I use the New International Version.

I find it being a great app, with useful tools.

Either believe in magic beings who are so very very concerned about you. Or technology. Ancient Aliens is the only mythology that actually makes sense.

When they finally explain that first .00000000000001 second, i Will be completely vindicated....
Or not, because I am hedging my bet till the end.
Ok, I am being, what, i don't know, maybe sarcastic. For long time I said I was agnostic, until what i realized was I was really being was.......
I really have no idea about a bible app. I have a flip phone and a paper Bible, Qur'an, Bhagavad Gita, and a Tibetan Book of the Dead within arms reach right now.
And if you can't have this kind of interesting discussion with a bunch of pipe smoking folks, what is the point

I used to think this show was good. Then they started talking about how Bigfoot was actually the first human creature on Earth and was forced to mate with aliens creating us! And that this was so traumatizing that this is why he hides. Kinda lost me after that. The one thing that cracks me up is that they keep trying to say that humans were completely dumb and couldn't put rocks together, until the Romans????
