Yuck. Not a collectible I’d want in my house of other peoples’ misery, likely wholly unrelated to smoking a tobacco pipe on occasion.
To be disgusted with these is playing into exactly how they want you to react. I say put these images on tshirts, make these tins collectors... show these tobacco Nazis that their plan has backfired. If non-smokers start complaining about us wearing this shit n tshirts, they will stop it.

Here is just a small sample of tins I keep at the office. The rest are at my home and cabin. I did gift about a dozen to a friend/tobacconist for decoration to use.

I believe the Tom Keene can held cigars, but it was too cool not to pick up at the flea market. Since Einstein smoked Revelation, I keep that tin nearby and hope it makes me smarter.

I have many favorites, I suppose. McClelland certainly had some great tin art. But since I don't feel like digging one out for a photo, I settled for this, which is also super cool. I'm also about to open it!

Old C&D when Craig and Patty ran it. I forgot their artist's name but their tin art was certainly worthy of attention. In a comic book way.

Have a ton of it in the cellar. (Some drying out). Fun.

There is almost something perversely appealing about collecting a set of tins with the most gruesome, horrific, and stomach turning images—it would make for an interesting, weird, and odd collection. I could see compiling a set like that, but there are so many pipes, blends, books, posters, manuscripts, records, toys, etc. I’d rather get first.
Graphic image warnings have actually been good for cigarette pack collectors because it gives them more things to collect

That's why tins are disposable. Jar the tobacco and trash the tin. It's just a mass produced label and no longer art unlike the painted tins of years ago. Collecting them would be akin to hoarding Twinkie wrappers.

Maybe they're using a new brand of oranges for the flavor now.
Orange had a mild zest flavoring and the new stuff tastes like orange candy. They probably changed the tin to reflect the no flavoring names in blend names law.
