I have no idea. The tin was my godmother’s dad’s.have to ask.... whats the mixture like?
Got to taste better than it looks or alludes to I hope.
Ugly labels! That’ll stop them from smoking it! We’re brilliant!
That would be perfect if it included the blend contents.
This one's pretty awesome, and the 1st intent for this tobacco was likely rolling cigarettes. Any time smoothness is emphasized, they were often implying it wouldn't irritate your throat, as in the Pall Mall ad below. And most cigarette smokers had changed a baby at one time or another, and knew the saying, "smooth as a baby's butt." I think shaving ads played with the same marketing idea back around the same time. Anyway, it's an AWESOME find!Probably wouldn’t get away with it today, but love this one. So weird.

Well, poop! Hard to be exacting and detail oriented when trying to work at the same time. Bad idea. Apologies! Delete, please, if you're a mod or admin!Contemporary, folks.

That's a good one! Great looking pipe, too!I don't know why they changed the color of the oranges when they changed the blend name.

I’ve collected old tobacco tins for many years. With the likely demise of many blends— and possibly square tins—what do you think is the best contemporary tin art?
Here is my top pick from Gawith (without the EU warning label):
