Half the remaining blends are one Gawith or another, and for one reason or another folks have elected to target a legend among them. I couldn't bring myself to take a swing at Bob, as doing so would feel like kicking a kind and benevolent uncle square in what the French might call his geaux-nads.

What I'm finding interesting is the new antipathy towards Anomalous due to its limited nature. We're likely to see a blend just like it on the market once Per Georg Jensen is up and running with his new K&K label. I may have to shed a tear or two for the white-bread tastebuds in the room. Sometimes, life is about trying new things, having new experiences, maybe even popping open yellow tins with birds on 'em. I have a feeling that the fellas downing Anomalous frequent the same restaurant and order the same dish cooked up ad infinitum the same way, so that even a night out becomes just a little more same ol' same ol'.

It puts me in mind of Shaun of the Dead and his obsession with the Winchester. Night after night, pint after pint, in the same old spot. Still, my tastes are only one of many here so my opinion isn't likely to sway. We're all, as Nick Frost said in another flick in the Shaun saga, "Judge Judy and Executioner."
