I really hope it works out for you! I have completed many trades here for tobacco and pipes with no problems and it just bugs me to no end that someone would willingly rip off another in this manner!!! :x

Mike, you are forgetting that he robbed people at Smokers Forum, that is indisputable. So no matter how your issue is resolved, he is still a thief. He may be saying all the things you want to hear, and he may indeed come through for you. But people have been burned and we cannot forget that fact.

He robbed people at a couple other boards. This isn't piling on, it's the truth. Always an excuse for not shipping his trades, always lying about payment in the mail, and in some cases, lying about receiving incoming trades.
He stole a box pass at pipe smoker's forum, we gave him all kinds of time and all kinds of chances. He then came back and gave us a big "Gee why is everyone so mad?" and offered to pay for the value of the box pass. We valued it at 300 dollars. Never saw one cent. Many,many emails with this guy I have sent and read.
He's not okay BriarBlues. He's a liar and a thief.

If he is stealing from members and the value is $300 and over, go to the police and file with the police. Perhaps some jail time for the guy is needed.

Mason, I don't think a box pass could in any way be construed as legally binding. No single person owns it. It's the honor system, pure and simple, and that made that particular situation all the worse.

There has been some concern over this thread and there are members for leaving it up and running and those who feel it should be deleted. I'm taking the happy medium and closing it. The information contained in this thread is still available, and if Kevin has taken steps to protecting the membership, I see no need for this thread to remain open. As always, I'm more than happy to discuss the thread's closure with anyone and if the case can be made to reopen it, I will. Thanks for the info everyone!
