Terrible news really, just when you think things can’t get any worse, they’ve announced the band ‘Oasis’ have officially reformed.

From the thread title, I was expecting news of a total tobacco ban or the Peterson factory burned to the ground. I think we have different concepts of "bad" or "terrible" news. This ranks somewhere in the maybe interesting -- for a moment range.

Like Nickelback, I think they know their instruments, and have someone who can arrange and produce well. It's just that they suck. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it is. Maybe it is just their personalities. As I was watching some of the videos, I could only keep watching in hopes that a car would hit them, or a piece of skylab would drop on them.

I felt the same about Rod Stewart in the 80's. Just someone please make them stop.

In the states? Undoubtedly. Milli Vanillli, Charles & Eddie, Hall & Oats are all pretty naff. None of those are as annoying as Oasis though. A thorn in my side since the 90’s & I’m sure the root cause of my tinnitus. My poor ears inadvertently affected whilst visiting the pubs & clubs of England.
No, for pure annoyance, nobody beats Oasis. Like ’Beavis & Butthead’ but with the brains taken out.
