After lunch sitting and reading The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson and smoking Frog Morton on the Town in my Stanwell HCA churchwarden.
@rybo: If you haven't tried it, McClelland's Frog Morton is a standard crossover into the English blends, and more than satisfying. On the Town, Across the Pond and On the Bayou are all variations on the theme, but other than guessing that On the Bayou has some perique in it, I don't know what the exact differences are among them all.

@rybo,

Always happy to tout a blend that I like. Looking for something that'll live up to its name? Then by all means try a tin of Escudo Navy De Luxe,
a combination of full bodied Virginia from North Carolina and Virginia blended with Perique from Louisiana are the cornerstones in Escudo. The blend is pressed and matured before it is spun and cut into coins.

A yummy blend from Stokkebye; considered the gold standard of Vapers.
Just finished bowls of H&H's Anniversary Kake in a Nørding freehand, followed by

D&R's Rimboché S.J. in a Rattray's bulldog.

It's Mac Baren day today.
Since I was having a meeting with them, I thought it would be in bad form to not smoke their tobacco, which I really like anyway.
Earlier - HH Vintage Syrian

Now - 7 Seas, their new American style aromatic which is MB's answer to Captain Black and Lane BCA and 1Q. They really hit the ball out of the park on this one.

Totally weird, Fred -- but I like it!
@pstlpkr - I would have recommended that Rybo try 1-Q as a knock-around smoke, but I see where he mentioned Wilshire, which, I think, you said was the same thing.
P.A. followed by Stokkebye's Lux. Bull's Eye, both in a GBD bulldog.
Going to char a bowl of G&H's Kendal Flake, and DGT it for the Cubs-Giants game later...

in a modern (Duncan Briars) Ben Wade bulldog.

Yup Cortez, 1Q is Wilshire from the Tinder Box, and it's known by other names in the local shoppe's dependent on their preference when naming their bulk tobaccos.

It is called Yorkshire at The Briary here in B'ham.

Also, for example; Chart Topper is RLP-6 here.
Tonight it's 1Q "Yorkshire" in my new MM Churchwarden.

Thanks Cortezattic. From most points of view, this Pipe appears to

be another ornately carved Meerschaum. This is the only one that I've

seen Yanik carve. Most people never see the skull.

Westminster in a large Digby Billard . I have never smoked 1Q , but then I was never one to play follow the leader . Perhaps I should add some to my next order to see what the commotion is all about .

Igloo, it'll be worth a try.

It's just a good honest smoke, nothing fancy.

My favorite utilitarian smoke. "The ladies" love the room note.
1Q in MM cob churchwarden
