Started off with PA & CBW mix in my MM cob, which was nice. So, I followed up with half a bowl of Boswell's Premium Burley in my La Rocca. An observation: so far my La Rocca seems more suited to Boswell's Mild English than anything else I've smoked in it.

A couple of bowls of Escudo in a GBD Popular bulldog. The heel from the first bowl was dry, so I packed the second bowl atop that because I heard that was a good thing to do. It didn't fare to well for me -- won't try it anymore.

The afternoon smoke continues with London Mixture

in the Bekler Billiard. Best to all.

BTW Cortezattic, my suggestion about smoking the bottom half of the bowl is to

burn it without a top layer of fresh tobacco. For me, the last third of the

bowl is where the real story of a blend is, but then these Meerschaums are very

absorbent, so I don't have a big moisture problem in smoking what most would say

is dottle... Meerschaum is a very efficient material for complete incineration.

It's turned out to be a Bekler Sunday smoke. For now, it's Petersen &

Sorensen's The Bankers in the Sea Wall. Best to all.

I found McClelland's bulk McRaspberry at 4noggins, and they ship internationally. Hope that helps.
A couple of bowls of P.A. to get me kick-started.

One in a GBD bulldog, the other in a GBD bent pot.

C&D's Or Olam (a Vaper) in a Rattray's bent bulldog. Tasted spicier today than it usually does.

Probably has to do with smoking it after eating breakfast. I dunno.

Orlik Golden Sliced in a Sportex estate briar chimney, slightly bent, smaller bowl. I for one like my VaBurs in a taller/smaller bowl,it just works for me better.GoldenSliced, for what it is worth, puts a breeze in my sails, gently tuging at the sheet. That is to say I like it much.

smokingtoport - I love Orlik Golden Sliced. In the future I'll post up a picture of it being packaged in the Orlik factory.
Right now, I am in New Orleans smoking a bowl of Nat Sherman Old Oxford Blend #649. It's a great English blend that can only be acquired from the store in New York. You can't order it on the web site, but if you call the store, they can take a phone order and ship it.

CAO Eileen's Dream in my Brigham 149 rusticated apple. Last night on the ferry ride home from Port Angeles to Victoria it was another bowl of 1Q in my new Vauen.

How are the CAO flavors?I have tried Eileen's Dream in Cigar form, but not as pipe tobacco.Do they taste like a cigar in a pipe?Or is the flavor profile just "Pipey" in the pipe mixture .

I'm just wrapping up my first bowl of Eileen's Dream and have never smoked a cigar in my life. Assuming that cigars don't taste like pipe tobacco, this is the same flavor profile in a pipe tobacco: irish cream and white chocolate. The fella in the store had a very similar comment: that he'd tried the cigars and though they were awesome. My first bowl was top-notch, so I can say that much at least. Was a very dark, fine ribbon in the tin, and the tin note was mouthwatering.
