I just made a Hybrid Tip using the RAW Cotton Filters... I break them apart and I can have 2 cotton balls in them. And what's good about them is theyre made with special cotton I guess but you can make your own if you have your own cotton balls.
Well, I used the other RAW Tips, the normal ones, and put a cotton ball in them from the RAW Cotton Tips.. and wow! They are doing really good! Especially since the way the cotton filters normally come.. or these, they dont pull At all. I feel as if they're just meant to be broken up, and then put into another Tip..
So that's how I'm doing it now, a RAW Original Tip or similar with a cotton ball inside...... but it's also nice that , they pull apart evenly into 2 cotton balls threaded perfectly to fit inside of a Tip.... I dont know if it would work with normal cotton balls. But who knows.
Also RAW makes these Wide Tips or Cone Tips with the line in the center so one can make an inner chamber and an outer chamber.... so one can put cotton in either one of these chambers also?
Oh yeah... Im talking about for rolling in papers. Well, or also a wrap.
Anyways. as for my Clay pipe. well, it's still getting gurgling but so far I've gotten it to max 5 days with no gurgling (and Im using Philtpads now) But I still have ideas as to how to minimize that, And a new idea for how to maybe, wash or atleast uh, absorb some moisture. Anyways maybe it'll take some time for me to get that.
Also to work on my leaves again.. since new things popped up, or obstacles like I have to renew my water filter.
Anyways, always something, right when I just learn something new lol
but yeah, I've gotten it to last 5 days which is the MOst ive had a clay pipe last without gurgling. But.. who knows, things like also packing (not leaving tobacco in the pipe so that the filter and/or the pipe [or the tobacco from the pipe] absorbs the moisture)...
Another thing may be to keep the pipe straighter as I smoke it? who knows.
Eh, another thing I thought could be to soak the pipe in clay water....... maybe it helps when /if there is moisture at the bottom...
well I dont have a fireplace anywhere lol.
Here's another thing I thought.. I should empty the bowl as soon as possible after smoking so that I allow the filter to dry out along with the pipe... But I have to be consistent with that.
