I have been interested in Asian cultures (or different cultures period for that matter) for a long time. During a research session i discovered a pipe called a Kiseru ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiseru ), which is a Japanese pipe often made my putting two small metal pieces at either end of a bamboo shaft. They come in a wide range of lengths (which peaked my interest because i love churchwardens). The bowls on them are commonly very small and the tobacco meant to be used, called Kizami, is very fine (almost looks like hair). Anyone have any experience with these pipes, and if so what was your experience like?

Yes, Cupojoes is where I got my last one, was using Bali Shag blue pouch tobacco, before it became hard to get.
I posted this link before, but it's really interesting how he makes these

No problem at all. The search function here isn't all that spectacular.
For future reference: When you perform a forum search, near the bottom of the search results page you will find a line that states "You may also try your search at Google". Click that link.
Alternately you can start with google search. The search query to type into google in this instance was:
site:http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/ kiseru
example: Animated Google search
