Whippet? While technically not a cat, anyone who has owned a sight hound will tell you they act a lot like cats (being sight driven vs scent driven)

Nice name, ours are Sookie and Sahara.
There the same! Both attached to assholes!(LOve ya bro but had to take the shot!)Now thats a "stache" to rival @chasingembers
Our cat was hand raised from a tiny kitten, but she's like that too, doesn't like to be constrained haha. Wild (and vicious) at heart. She bullies my sister's pit-mix dog. This is Acorn.. we rescued her as a kitten from an abandoned house that was demolished soon after. She’s a bit wild but very loving and expressive. Loves to sit in a lap or get attention but being held .. only for a short while. ?

Our newest bottle baby is sort of this way. Vet tech says best way is to just handle them a ridiculous amount. So we’ve been trying to and she’s doing better. But it just seems some cats (maybe depending on how feral the parents were) are just always like that. Our cat was hand raised from a tiny kitten, but she's like that too, doesn't like to be constrained haha. Is it a calico or calico cross? They are genetically vicious and female, they can't help it. Seriously. Our newest bottle baby is sort of this way. Yep, cat colours, gender, and temperament are fairly rigidly determined by their genes. Tortoise and calicos are almost always females and vicious, orange tabby cats are usually males and nice, etc.Tortoiseshell?
She’s got torti-tude.
I used to think that.Yep, cat colours, gender, and temperament are fairly rigidly determined by their genes. Tortoise and calicos are almost always females and vicious, orange tabby cats are usually males and nice, etc.
That's cool, they are kind of rare! IIRC approximately 80% of orange tabby cats are male.I used to think that.
Haha we hand raised a litter of orange girls ?
Also we have an orange girl we kept from our last rescue batch named Alice. A mackerel tabby.
for some reason around here theres lots of orange female
Italian Greyhound. A little smaller than a whippet. She's 11 years old now.Whippet?
I used to have a cat who liked to catch smoke rings. She'd jump a couple feet in the air to catch them. From this thread, I believe cats and other creatures may be drawn to the smell of pipe tobacco smoke.
Based on our experience it seems that, while some cats can become lap cats, no cats like being held more than 30 seconds. This is Acorn.. we rescued her as a kitten from an abandoned house that was demolished soon after.
