@cachimbero They are now outright seizing tobacco parcels with 2-4 tins in India, citing import laws which is bullshit because personal use is always permitted at minuscule quantities. I am literally smuggling tobacco to India, still waiting for a notice from the Commissioner of Customs at the Postal Department so I can sue their ass to kingdom come. tobacco is not a restricted or illegal item according to postal and general law in India.
The duty for pipes is 42% here and for tobacco it was around 32% before they started acting like poopholes.
Cheers,

Up until July 1st this year, when Australian Customs intercepted tobacco, the buyer would be sent a duty invoice at $544 a pound.

Now when Customs intercepts tobacco they destroy it.

None-the-less I've received two orders of tobacco since.
I'm not aware how similar things work overseas but here in Oz, orders sent via private delivery services such as FedEx or DHL, get closer scrutiny than those sent through the national postal service.
