I may be off with my around the world calculations, but maybe it's officially "the" day? If so, Happy Birthday!
An award winning chef pairing the wine with several courses. Ooo-la-la. My wife is a food writer, former restaurant reviewer on Manhattan, and she can pair wine perfectly with dishes high and low. Best of all, she doesn't pontificate of the subject, she just does her magic. I'm not fussy about wines, but I do notice the difference when the pairing is outstanding.
