Am I the Only One Here with No Cell Phone?

I’m flabbergasted there are people without a mobile device of some sort.
My 96 year old grandmother has one.

As a consummate tech geek, I love my android phone. I tried to love apple but they didn't want me to do anything that wasn't originally loaded on the phone. The laptops, while well made, also left me wanting as they have gotten either crippled by system limitations, or prohibitively expensive.

Shun tech to your heart's content. I'll use it and enjoy it. As they say, more for me.

That's my problem with apple, helping friends with apple products is always a chore and some things just aren't possible. With android there is always custom roms as a last resort to make the technology do what you want. Same for windows or linux computer OS vs apple, it just seems like apple doesn't want you to deviate from their narrow idea of the usage of their technology. I'll never buy an apple product but I understand folks who find that apple products work for them.

Other than calls, shopping, and forum use, mine may as well be a flip phone.
