Yeah it’s a beautiful shape. There are some graceful inexpensive versions out now. Can’t remember which brand but I will check.

There's always the option of commissioning one from an artisan.
Not my style but the likeness is spot on.
I recently picked up this pair of Briar Works for much less than 1,200 pounds. I was definitely attracted to the shape.
That's a good start for a real LC (which that one appears to be), a true grail piece for Dunhill collectors.

I held a Dunhill LC a few years ago, at the NYC show. I think the seller (one of the show organizers) was asking $2,500 and I believe he sold it before the end of the show .

There's no explaining taste, not my cup of tea at $12.00. But it's your money and if you can afford it, and it's eating at your core, buy it and be done with it. With all the boys it has, you should be able to recover most of your money if you change your mind after the fact.
Imagine how many metric tons of 1Q you could buy instead...
1Q versus a Dunhill, my money would be going for the tobacco.
