I’ve got some 2015 and it’s the tits.

I've recently put some in the cellar for long term aging, only 5 years to go! ??

Another thing I didn't mention is when I cellared the 2 year old stuff I pressed as much as I could into a 125ml mason jar. Whether that makes much difference I don't know.

People often comment that Ennerdale has a strong casing/topping but I'd love them to do an extra strength version, if they made it a plug as well I'd be in Heaven!

As for aging it I've only had 2 year old Ennerdale, I'd love to try some 5 & 10 year old stuff to see the difference.

The tin I’m smoking through that was given to me has five years of age on it. Fantastic stuff. I have yet to try it fresh.

Growing up in Indiana I heard it way too much for my liking. I'm not a fan of it either. In Southeast Missouri it's "sodee". I swear those people live on fountain Pepsi and scratcher tickets.

I jumped on the Ennerdale bandwagon years ago. As someone who enjoys aromatic pipe tobaccos, I consider the Lakelands some of the ultimate aromatics. And the underlying tobaccos are terrific!

Lakelands are a class of their own.

Edit: as someone who's lived in the UK for a decade, and loves it from John o'Groats to Land's End, and has seen the Yorkshire Airlines vid many years ago I need to put a +1 to quality English humour!

We have them here too. They have a "system" they think will one day let them win the lottery. As a tax paying citizen there nothing more satisfying than seeing someone pay $40 for their groceries with a food stamp credit card and then pull out a wad of cash and pay $50 for lottery tickets.
