It was more about reading him in the original archaic Greek. The translating was more of an intellectual exercise. Isn't that when every 8 year old does?
Anyway, I'm cured of that. Bring me low brow crap! There's more Truth in it that in all of Plato and his farting acolytes!

Languages have precise meanings, and these do not map exactly between languages, which is why translations are such a huge issue in philosophy.
