I just knew the hamster would be attracted to this, ha ha.
I've hunted for most of my life, and been a nut for the entirety... but, I've never seen a white squirrel. Very cool!
We had one of those around my house. It lasted about 6 months. Stuck out like a sore thumb.

Oak Mountain State Park here, used to have a few deer/goat hybrids in their farm demo. I turned to the lady who was in charge of that barn and asked her, "What you got like a Dr Moreau working in the stables? I wanna see the pig people. "
Great image captures! I was at Oberlin College, who's mascot is an albino squirrel, a few weeks back and was lucky to spot one on campus. Really cool to see them 'in person'.
Great pictures! I've only saw 2 white ones in my 59 years. Have saw a lot of solid black. Always cool to see the odd ones. The squirrel is a fun animal to watch and they are pretty tasty as well...
I've seen one too! I've now seen grey, red, white and black squirrels.
This is a white fox squirrel I saw a few years ago while bow hunting. He was carrying a black walnut across the field.
It is always great to see the different colored critters. When you see a plaid one, then you got something. Ha Ha
When I lived in Western PA we had more black squirrels than brown or grey.
There's a town in southern Illinois, Olney, that is loaded with them. Suppose to be the largest population of albino squirrels.

In Toronto, the predominant sub-species of squirrels are black, and quite large. I was there one March, and it was still pretty cold, but the squirrels were plump. I've never seen a white squirrel (albino). I suspect they are at a disadvantage as prey, and I wonder how they do with mates. Apparently the Olney squirrels are pairing up quite well. Could you tell if their eyes are red? Some all-white cats have blue eyes, but I don't know that they are technically albino -- probably most aren't.
