Seriously though, someone did a review on in home purifiers. The only ones that actually worked were very expensive, sizable and somewhat power hungry. I really dont think you can do much other than to vent the smoke and cover mask the odor in a vehicle.

Depending on how old you vehicle is, you should also have an air filter built in to help keep the smoke down, if you are driving in heavy rain and cannot roll down the windows.
I didn't realize that I had one, till I went to get my oil changed, and they reached in and grabbed it to ask me if I wanted a new filter.

Also, IMO, pipesmoke does not ruin a car smell like cigarettes do, except for a few types, aromatics tend to go acrid like cigarettes, IMO. So, fell free to smoke your pipe without worry, YMMV
Air filters will do nothing, and I mean physically and literally nothing, against smoke/ VOCs. Carbon filtering, and I mean a LOT of carbon in the air path, is the only way other than air exchange to get rid of smoke.
