I’m wondering if anyone here has a setup in their car to keep the smoke smell down or even eliminate it? I know many people have setups for a specific room and am wondering if there’s a smaller machine that would be appropriate for a car.

Edit: Want to have something so I can keep the windows up. I don’t have an indoor place to smoke so I’d like to turn my car into my mobile smoking room.

Depending on how old you vehicle is, you should also have an air filter built in to help keep the smoke down, if you are driving in heavy rain and cannot roll down the windows.
I didn't realize that I had one, till I went to get my oil changed, and they reached in and grabbed it to ask me if I wanted a new filter.

Also, IMO, pipesmoke does not ruin a car smell like cigarettes do, except for a few types, aromatics tend to go acrid like cigarettes, IMO. So, fell free to smoke your pipe without worry, YMMV

When I push these buttons, the window goes down, and the smoke is sucked out the window. I hope that helps.

Just opening the window has always been enough for me.
Thanks! 😁 I wondered what those buttons were there for. Glad to see modern car makers still thinking of a smoker’s needs 😆

I want to keep the smoke smell down while driving with the windows up because I do a lot of highway driving.

I agree on all points but some people who ride in my car don’t appreciate the smoke smell (and I don’t appreciate their dirty diaper smell).

i just pull over and roll the windows and open my door, never any smell. Unless it’s raining not sure why you wouldn’t, but I guess you have a reason.

You can purchase a cigarette lighter plug in DC to AC inverter, and then plug in to it. This device might work, but if you go over 200 watts you might blow a fuse. Not sure this would work well, but if you regularly changed the filter, it might?

When driving at highway speeds, I don't leave my window all the way down, or else I wouldn't be able to hear my music. So, I will just crack my window about half an inch, and it will suck out the smoke as you make it.
Just don't let anyone else roll their window down, because two windows cracked doesn't have the same vacuum action. But again, YMMV.

Have the AC set on “fresh air” not “recirculate”, and crack a window.

Allows for positive air pressure with incoming air instead of just recycling air in cabin through HVAC system.

Mr Bootle G Pipes, don't you have a dangly smelly xmas tree thingummy hanging off the rear view mirror, to neutralize farts etc? Very popular in the UK, killed the furry dice market. "Little Trees", had to look 'em up.
