Better than most all of the commercials I worked on at the start of my "illustrious" career.
It's even worse than that...it just makes shit up entirely...all on its own apparently. It does what it's programmed to do or say and then the narrative is, it must be true because it came from AI
PS: The below version of this story includes the additional details that when the lawyer confronted "AI" regarding whether the case info was bogus, it still insisted it was all real and accurate:It's even worse than that...it just makes shit up entirely...all on its own apparently.
Case in point below...you just gotta love this story:
Lawyers tell angry New York judge that A.I. tricked them into citing fake cases in court filing: ‘I did not comprehend that ChatGPT could fabricate cases’

Van:
I hate to say it, but you are full of bologna.
Your wide eye optimism, as refreshing as it is, doesn’t always serve you the truth.
Tell that to the relatives of these poor people:The sad truth is in a few years we’ll all be dead and there’s not a trace of physical evidence to indicate there’s any more to life than the one we know we have.
We walk by faith, not by sight.
Yet mankind strives always for better living conditions and over time the human condition is always better than the previous generation.
The cynics and pessimists have been wrong every generation since Eve tempted Adam.
Optimism is realty.

There is a reason we must stand guard. Chamberlain‘s optimism did not serve him well.
Unless these are just a ploy to make us think AI is "safe" and not a threat.... HmmmmThis would suggest that artificial intelligence isn't going to take over by being far more intelligent than people but by making people more stupid. Sometimes I think digital technology has already done this.
For whatever reason, this ad does not make me want pizza. Maybe it's because I lack technological exposure.
Unless these are just a ploy to make us think AI is "safe" and not a threat.... Hmmmm
Tin foils hats ready??
From the perspective of a gentleman living in the Midwest with a comfortable lifestyle, your perspective is understandable. But outside the bubble this optimism has no ground to take root. Having traveled the world, nearly 40 countries, poverty , fascism, and tyranny are moving people into a new type of serfdom where survival is tied to the rule of a small group of elites. The look of poverty has changed, but the oppressiveness of tyranny and desperation is no different. Suicide bombers and anarchist are not on the decline. From the perspective of those whoBut Churchill’s optimism did, prove correct.
In due time, the New World did come to the rescue of Christian Civilization.
As Nazi bombs caused the ceiling plaster to fall on the table of the shelter, Winston Churchill plotted the liberation of Europe.
You could not make that up.
Such things as that are as close as we will get to proving God stands in the shadows, keeping watch over His own.

live on the other side of the fence, actions of violence are not extremes - they are necessary to fight back and reclaim lost dignity and human value. When the Keep finally falls to the throngs of people burning down the castle, no one will have any sympathy for the King.
Van: I am not disputing you assertions. I am stating that there does come a moment in every epic of history when the the rug is pulled out from under the optimists. Our institutions that safe guard moral infrastructures are collapsing under the weight of an economic material line of thought that is in itself a mockery of traditional values that have served to hold families together and ultimately countries. One can measure this quantitatively and not just casually. A fine example would be mass shootings at malls and schools by school age children no less. The exposure to pornography available to six year olds exceeds what any dirty old man could have expected 50 years ago. The normalization of violence and perversion of sex and family relationship in all media has done a real number on our children. This is very different than what our parents complained about. As my hair turns slowly from gray to white, I'm reminded when I hear such things of how our mothers dear used to answer our concerns about the wicked state of this old sin cussed world with selected poems, they had learned in school as children.
This one, comes especially to mind. Written in 1914, at the beginning of the war to end all wars.
Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight
BY VACHEL LINDSAY
(In Springfield, Illinois)
It is portentous, and a thing of state
That here at midnight, in our little town
A mourning figure walks, and will not rest,
Near the old court-house pacing up and down.
Or by his homestead, or in shadowed yards
He lingers where his children used to play,
Or through the market, on the well-worn stones
He stalks until the dawn-stars burn away.
A bronzed, lank man! His suit of ancient black,
A famous high top-hat and plain worn shawl
Make him the quaint great figure that men love,
The prairie-lawyer, master of us all.
He cannot sleep upon his hillside now.
He is among us:—as in times before!
And we who toss and lie awake for long
Breathe deep, and start, to see him pass the door.
His head is bowed. He thinks on men and kings.
Yea, when the sick world cries, how can he sleep?
Too many peasants fight, they know not why,
Too many homesteads in black terror weep.
The sins of all the war-lords burn his heart.
He sees the dreadnaughts scouring every main.
He carries on his shawl-wrapped shoulders now
The bitterness, the folly and the pain.
He cannot rest until a spirit-dawn
Shall come;—the shining hope of Europe free;
The league of sober folk, the Workers' Earth,
Bringing long peace to Cornland, Alp and Sea.
It breaks his heart that kings must murder still,
That all his hours of travail here for men
Seem yet in vain. And who will bring white peace
That he may sleep upon his hill again?
----------
The Campbellites almost made Lincoln into a Civic Saint.
After all, after he had liberated millions of souls in bondage, he was cruelly murdered on a Good Friday.
Next Monday marks Juneteenth, as a reminder that sometimes the wrong does fail, the right prevail, and there is peace on earth, and goodwill towards men.
