PM me your address. I assume you will smoke Sam Gawith blends and Twists from the UK as my usual run of the mill blends are Lakelands and Twists and Plug. If that works for you then I think I might have a few things that might cheer you up.
It is a little crazy for mail still being sent to lahaina addresses. I'm staying with friends on the other side of the island, it's operating normally for this side, thankfullyI sent you a PM. Your situation seems horrific.
It seems very chaotic in Maui, from the news. Is the USPS mail reliable?
Just so you know, you've probably opened Pandora's box.I don't want to take anymore than what will help get me through these tough times
Hahaha, you might be right...Just so you know, you've probably opened Pandora's box.
Just be prepared, we sometimes have epic gifting wars.Hahaha, you might be right...
If you PM me your address I would be honored to make a contribution. Since I smoke mostly Virginia's and va/per I can probably come up with a pipe or two that's already broken in with Virginia and some tobacco to go along with.Sounds to me like a good problem to have right now
Thankful to hear your family is safe after this horrific fire. I would offer to send some tobacco, but it sounds like the wonderful bunch of folks on this forum have you well taken care of. Hope all your other needs are fulfilled as well, especially with such a young family. Take care sir, and God Bless you.Ive kept going back and forth between being prideful and not asking, or suffering without but I've been in a bad situation lately and would kindly like to ask you all here for some help if it is within your ability.
I am from Lahaina Hawaii and recently suffered a very traumatic wild fire. My family lost our home, and all of our possessions. We had just enough time to grab a baby bag, and our documents before the fire took everything. We are all safe, thank god but left to figure out how to put our lives back together now. Money is tight and I feel ashamed to even be asking but does anyone have a couple tins and a pipe they could spare? I find myself very lost without familiar comforts. A pipe at the end of the day was my sanctuary, a place to unwind, think things through, relax. Maybe it's just because of how stressed I've been but I miss that part of my old life. To make matters more complicated Hawaii recently banned online tobacco sales. I had a good collection of briars and a cellar of at least 6 years of tobacco, all of which is now gone and with Hawaii's laws I am unable to purchase more. My financial priorities right now are for our 1 yr old and our baby boy on the way. But if anyone has an old cob or briar kicking around that they don't use, or a spare tin, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, Erik
