I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to me via PM and this thread. The generosity in this community surpassed even my greatest expectations. I would like to close the donations portion of the thread at this time as everyone who responded has graciously offered so much. I don't want to take anymore than what will help get me through these tough times. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

Sounds to me like a good problem to have right now 😀
If you PM me your address I would be honored to make a contribution. Since I smoke mostly Virginia's and va/per I can probably come up with a pipe or two that's already broken in with Virginia and some tobacco to go along with.
I am in Oregon so I should get to you fairly quickly.

Hang in there bro, it's got to get better from where you're at now.

Ive kept going back and forth between being prideful and not asking, or suffering without but I've been in a bad situation lately and would kindly like to ask you all here for some help if it is within your ability.

I am from Lahaina Hawaii and recently suffered a very traumatic wild fire. My family lost our home, and all of our possessions. We had just enough time to grab a baby bag, and our documents before the fire took everything. We are all safe, thank god but left to figure out how to put our lives back together now. Money is tight and I feel ashamed to even be asking but does anyone have a couple tins and a pipe they could spare? I find myself very lost without familiar comforts. A pipe at the end of the day was my sanctuary, a place to unwind, think things through, relax. Maybe it's just because of how stressed I've been but I miss that part of my old life. To make matters more complicated Hawaii recently banned online tobacco sales. I had a good collection of briars and a cellar of at least 6 years of tobacco, all of which is now gone and with Hawaii's laws I am unable to purchase more. My financial priorities right now are for our 1 yr old and our baby boy on the way. But if anyone has an old cob or briar kicking around that they don't use, or a spare tin, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks, Erik
Thankful to hear your family is safe after this horrific fire. I would offer to send some tobacco, but it sounds like the wonderful bunch of folks on this forum have you well taken care of. Hope all your other needs are fulfilled as well, especially with such a young family. Take care sir, and God Bless you.

@MaukaMan

Just seeing this now. So sorry for your loss, but thankful you and your fam made it out. And seeing that you closed the donations, if you need anything else (other than pipes and tobaccos), let us know. Also, depending on what you receive, I have a few 8oz cans of GLP Quiet Nights and Chelsea Morning and would be willing to part with some.
