Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. I hated it for the first week or so because it was something I wasn't familiar with. After 2 weeks I am warming up to it. It is very quick and zero problems so far.

Mac 10.6 (Snowleopard). I need to upgrade to Lion and then Mountain Lion (I try to stay one version behind the newest, and with the next version coming out I need to catch up), but it will have to wait until after I finally get this Windows 7 dual boot to work. I prefer OSX for general computer use, but I need an easier way to run games, ergo Windows 7.

Mac 10.6. I also run Win 7 in parallels for stuff like Quicken as the Mac version of Quicken sucks.
Zonomo I have run other Linux OSes under Parallels. I'm pretty sure you will be able to run Mint.
I'm forced to use Windows 7 at work. I'm just glad it's not Vista or Win 8 but I'd much prefer to use a Mac at work if I could.
I also have a bunch of Ubuntu boxes. I'll have to play with Mint some more.

Win7 Pro on my Lenovo laptop for work. Android Jellybean for my Samsung phone and tablet. I was a long time Blackberry sufferer until 3 days ago and finally made the switch. I miss the messaging capabilities of the BB but the rest of my Samsung products just work smoother.

I use OpenSUSE Linux now, and have used other Linux flavors since 1995. I was a Linux programmer, so it's blasphmey to use anything else.

Currently running W7-64. Would have stayed with XP if I had a choice. Really dislike W8; it seems like nothing more than W7 with a tablet/smart phone interface.
I'm really old school and would love to go back to DOS, at least for business applications. Never had an OS problem. Can't say the same thing about any of the MS or Apple systems. I have to admit I don't do gaming, social media, or music much. Really don't like GUI's, and the mouse/cursor programs for business applications are the greatest time wasters I've seen. Just give me programs that let me get business stuff done, but again, I want absolute reliability and the newer stuff that caters to folks who can only point and click don't deliver that. FWIW, my cell phone makes calls...period. Just my opinions on what I prefer.
Yup, REAL OLD ... school...codger...
Now, where did I put that abacus?

Well all you XP lovers have until April 8th 2014 (end of life support from MS, which means no more security updates, and the OS is one big hackers "wet dream" as it is "with" security patches...so imagine without them... :crying:
So please start thinking about a new OS to use...but really consider a Linux OS (so many Distro options out there that are FREE and have greater security than any MS OS will EVER have...not knocking any pipers out there using MS OSs, just want us better protected

I love my iMac! I converted to Apple 3 yrs ago. I have an old laptop for some gadgets that only runs on PC - I hate iPod and iTunes, so my mp3 is Win only - Win7 installed.
