To me a great bowl is the one where the weather is just right and I’m already calm and relaxed, the 07 Christmas Cheer was a great bowl in a great pipe that just sang, but in general it’s just that relaxed state when i can close my eyes and concentrate on the tobacco.
This is completely different from a great cigar, a great CC is as much about where i am and who I’m smoking with, i travel around the country to 3 or 4 large private herfs a year and to be honest some of the best cigars have actually been “the worst” but smoking them with friends l, true friends, that I’ve known for years make the cigar for me.
