Placed an order with smoking pipes 7 days ago, still not here. The only update was on the 25. "Your package is in transit" No shit. This surepost crap really sucks. Does 4 noggins use sure post? I think I may switch to another merchant.

Haha it's like I tell my boy... This is good practice for waiting. Waiting is a skill we use everyday.
It's not so much the waiting, it's the lack of updates. Also, they really should update their shipping map on the website cause it still says 2 days to Pennsylvania. Your shipping sucks now, just own up to it.

Shopping from Canada at SP.com, I get something like 6 choices of shipping speed over more than one shipping provider. Is there no other method of shipping offered if you shop from the US?
There is an upgrade option but it was $11 extra. Seems silly to pay $11 to “upgrade” to USPS.
Indeed, if you are unhappy, change vendors. I don't understand why a customer, who feels abused, would stay with the retailer. They've elected to ship one way and you can now elect to locate another vendor. It's a win-win.
Seems like the post office picks packages at random, then they play kick ball with those boxes.
SP switched to USPS as its primary delivery company sometime in the last year. Since that switch, the shipments have taken half the time as they used to with UPS. United Parcel was enough reason for me to shop elsewhere. Now, however, I get stuff clear, across the country in three days. Their shipping and service is excellent -- now.
So pay the $11. Or claim insurance on the package. What do you expect on crappy shipping during a pandemic?
The vendor to use bubble wrap or air pockets to keep the tins from flying around?
