Great memories of a true gentleman, though never met him in person. No photo tonight, but I will go load up the Ardor I got from his estate to memorialize him further in my heart.

Before signing on as a member of the Forums, I lurked for a couple of years.
@fishnbanjo's immense collection of pipes was ever an object of wonderment, inspiration, and occasional envy and mirth (who can ever forget his Wallenstein "bat").
His selfies will be forever missed.

I never knew the man, but have heard the rumours and enjoy his legacy. Keeping it Smokey down under with my most enthusiastic non-smoking pipe buddy.
Even though I have a few of his pipes I won on ebay I chose to smoke a freehand Armellini pipe I just got today. This is my first Armellini and fishnbanjo had an absolutely huge impact on my pipe collecting that I figured I'd go with something new and unfamiliar. He was always encouraging people to reach out and try different artisan pipes.

I sent Sante's widow a link to this thread, and she was very happy to read the nice words about her late husband. I thought you folks should know that.

Dan Leroux has moved most of Sante's wonderful cane rod and pipes on to new happy homes. I'm pretty sure he still has a few odds and ends, such as cobs, left. LMK if you want me to check. I helped Dan and the widow move out a bunch of Sante's tins. I myself got several of Sante's pipes and a wonderful cane rod.

I have fond memories of Sante and his contributions over the years on this forum. So many cool photos with very cool pipes. I miss his presence here...
