SO I purchased 4 tins of Private Stock from 4noggins and I got the package with only 3 tins in it and a note saying they would send the other when they get it (I have no idea how long that will be). Now, I'm not going to turn this into a big deal but am I correct in thinking that if they knew when the order was being filled that they did not have it right they should have called me 5 days ago to discuss other options?

4Noggins is a great store, with great people. Oversights happen,I'm sure they will make good on it just as soon as it comes in. Also they are really good at giving samples out of their blend to try. I'm pretty sure that you will have your fourth before you finish the other three.

Cup o joes has the same policy where they will ship what they've and when the out of stock tin comes in they ship it free of charge.

Have you emailed Rich to ask what happened? He has been nothing but honest and helpful whenever I have dealt with him.

As others have said, I have nothing but praise for 4Noggins, perhaps they thought you wanted to smoke it... Rich is only a phone call away, and a great guy to deal with.

As I said not a big deal and I think by everyone's response, except the contrarian, dochudson, that is obvious. I appreciate all feedback. The reason I wish they had called was I could have requested another tin in its place which would have been here today and not in another week. Water under the bridge.

One time Rich forgot to put a pound of MR in an order and all I'll say is it's the best mistake he ever made :puffpipe: I got it a week later.

We received the Private Stock yesterday afternoon and will put the tin in today's mail.
The reason we did not call was because we knew it was due in in only a few days. If there was going to be a long delay, we would have contacted you and asked if wanted something else in its place.

4Noggins is solid. Would a note or call have been nice? Sure. But, Rich is probably maintaining some of the best personal customer service in the online business. Wouldn't bother me too much, unless you can smoke all 3 of those tins that fast!

I would have contacted Rich directly first, before expressing my disappointment publicly on this Forum. I have only ever received excellent service from 4noggins, and if there were ever glitches Rich was quick to remedy them.

You did make a big deal out of nothing by the title of the thread. If one tin showing a few days after the others on Rich' s dime is your biggest problem of the day you must be very comfortable.

Look fellas, I simply made a comment expressing disappointment regarding the business transaction and being that this is a public forum speaking of all things related to tobacco I indicated my experience. there was no derision conveyed nor would there be.
dochudson: you seem quite invested in criticizing the posts of many of the people on this forum, yes I have read quite a few of your offerings. what's up with you?
