My order will be here, shipped 2nd day USPS Priority Mail, ... this coming Tuesday (most probably Monday) ...
No slight on 4noggins or on USPS, but most probably not Monday ... that'd be Labor Day, a US holiday, on which no mail delivery will occur ...

Considering the prices here in Canada paying for shipping is a minor drawback. The problem is we can only order up to 200grams about 7oz without worrying about duty charges which by reading older posts can be quite large. if anybody has placed orders slightly exceeding these limits without any problems let me know. So when I want some of Rich's excellent Britt's Bulkan I am paying $14 shipping for 6oz.

Pablo,
Shipping is based on weight and destination. To put this in perspective, you ordered over 16oz. of tobacco, pipe cleaners, and misc items. A total of 12 items in all. The shipping cost was not $40.00, but $34.50. That is not a bad price for all that you bought.
I thank you for the business.

Pablo, I'm supposing that you can find most anything in Brazil except good tobacco.

Why pay postage fees on things you can get locally? Focus on tobaccos, they will last years in a Mason jar.

Because the federal taxes summed up with the shipping taxes, which are charged by shipping method not distance, make it cheaper to order everything with the financial. A tobacco tin that Rich sells for $9,99 is sold in Brasil for about $35 (give or take a little because of the exchange rate, which is about 2,4 at the moment) plus shipping. Also, since there are very few kinds of pipes here, they are insanely pricey.
And please don't get me wrong Rich, I'm not complaining about you in any way. I know these are the taxes, and that they have nothing to do with you. Also, may I suggest that you inform the mass also in grams, as there are more than one type of ounce and consequently various conversion factors, go better serve your out of United States customers?

Don't worry rothnh, I know the conversion cause we do it a lot in engineering.
But since there is a Troy ounce, US ounce, Brazilian Ounce, people may be confused...
Oh, and any perspective as to how much time these 14 oz of tobbacco I ordered will last?

It really depends on the bowl size and pack but the general average I have read and experienced is around 10 bowls per ounce so that would be ≈140 bowls.

Lol, awesome. That's engineer stuff for sure.
Wow, 140 bowls? Okay, that's worth the price i was complaining about...
I was thinking that this would last a month, tops.

14 ounces equals 396 grams so if you smoke 3 grams per bowl that will net you approximately 132 bowls to smoke. If you put in 4 grams per bowl that will be 99 bowls. Figuring a cost of 4.00 per ounce makes your 14 ounces cost 56.00. At 132 bowls, you price per bowl is 42 cents per bowl and the cost for the 99 bowls is 56 cents per bowl at a cost of 14 cents per bowl. No where can you smoke for a good hour plus on 56 cents. Pipe smoking is by far the least expensive way to enjoy smoking tobacco.
edit: I forgot to figure in the cost of shipping, so at 34.50 for shipping, that adds a cost of 8 cents per bowl bringing your total cost to 22 cents per gram. Now a 3 gram bowl will cost 66 cents and a 4 bowl 88 cents which is still cheap as hell when you compare it to cigarettes or cigars.

That's some good math, thanks a lot. Since I don't know how much these will last i was kind of reluctant, but no more. Maybe the next shipping sends me a briar or meerschaum pipe? Hehe
