Yup, my wife bought me one of the Wahl rechargeable ones and it does the job well.

Normally when it is this hot I keep the beard and stache short but I have been letting it grow out and want to give a handlebar mustache a shot.

Nice thing about experimenting with facial hair is if ya don't like it the whole thing can be gone in a quick minute.

I just use a little nose hair trimmer I got at traget. It has different attachments for trimming different areas.

I've had a bunch of groomers, Wahls, Remingtons etc and they are all really about the same. Just don't spend too much money. I had an $80 one that lasted about as long as the $20 one.

I had a goatee for over 20 years, shaved it back in 08 when it went grey. 3 weeks ago I decided to grow my beard again and this was the result.

Decided to shave it off an hour ago, didn't like the itching.

I always wanted to grow a beard but couldn't while I was active duty or after... I had gotten a job at a chemical

plant and had to stay shaved where the gas mask seal contacted the face. After complete retirement in '06 I finally

did. After about 4 months I decided I didn't like it... and that brought on a whole new hobby. I only shave about

once a week and with a straight razor, hence the new hobby. Razors, brushes, cups, strops, the whole works.....

I grew a mustache in my 20's...didn't care for it. Then a couple of years ago I started with some sideburns then big lamb chops. I tapered them back a bit and then just lately have a chin beard(no mustache). The wife actually created the look one day while I was shaving.
It is a mix of salt and pepper however...

Starting to Get Obsessed

Greetings,
Because of lack of hair on my head (started losing it at 17), I opt for facial hair and usually wear a hat. I normally sport a goatee with longer sideburns, but occasionally let it fill in and run a full beard. Laziness, I guess.

Recently I've been using Just for Men beard and mustache color (don't laugh), and the results are amazing! I literally look 10 years younger. I don't have much gray on my head, but my beard is almost white (see photo).
Just for Men is inexpensive, simple and easy to use. One kit lasts about 3 applications. I trim everything, apply the color with the included brush, wait about 10 minutes or so, and step into the shower to wash it off. One application lasts a couple of weeks. I personally use the "sandy blonde" color, the lightest available. It tones down the gray without looking too dark. It really works well. Give it a try, you might like what you see in the mirror.
