Why? It's a pipe show. The Deeming Deadline isn't going to end pipes. Nor is the Deeming Deadline likely to end the social pleasures of meeting up with other enthusiasts.Might be the last one to actually go see anything great. It ends one week before the deeming.
It's too early to speculate on the state of the virus by the end of July. But, even if vaccinations have still lagged behind schedule, by then it seems likely that a large percentage of folks should have been vaccinated, which should itself greatly reduce the likelihood of contracting the virus due to herd immunity, or at least approaching it. This should be particularly true amongst attendees, since so many are 65+ and will be more likely than most to have been vaccinated.
