2019 West Coast Pipe Show Nov 2&3

I’m planning on arriving Thursday AM.

I’ll be there. In Thursday afternoon, out Monday morning. Really looking forward to it; a highlight of my pipe-year.

So where are we meeting up pre/post show? I will be there with my wife Saturday and Sunday. We will be at the Golden Knights game Saturday night as well if anyone else is going.

We don't have any kind of formal meeting plans. Just look for guys smoking pipes and say "Hi". During the show on Saturday there is a large room off the main exhibition floor where people congregate to smoke, and share tobaccos, and talk shit, and enjoy a drink or ten. You will likely find some of us there, passed out on, or under, the tables. Same thing on Sunday.

Last year a lot of the guys gathered in the sports book at night to visit, smoke, and have a drink. Who knows where people will gather this year? But sable's right. Just follow your nose. If anyone wants advice on cheap food and beer, head to Ellis Island Casino - a block off the strip. Their steak breakfast is about $7 and they have their own brewery so all of their beers are $2.50. Their steak is great for the price and their beer is great. Awesome staff too. I haven’t found anything better at that price point.

So many pipes to drool over so little time to do it. Meeting pipers from all over the country. Lots of vintage tobacco scattered over the room. Then there are the Meershaums OMG.

Sounds good. Heck, I can't always get to the pipe show in town, but I know Vegas will be fun. The lore always was that you could get a good big breakfast for practically nothing because the casinos wanted to get the players energized. Is that still true? Was it ever?
