I am making a serious offer to help you out. I've done similar befoer even for international guys. And besides I have 1970's, 1980's and the current Balkan Sobranie on hand so I don't need to steal any of yours.

Yes I have a sense of humor hence the Balkan Sobranie comment, I wasn't sure if you wanted stuff shipped to you ae1pt or what. I think the WA laws are unamerican and am up for doing what I can to ease the oppression off of the backs of our western brothers.

Don't be deceived. There are over 90 blends left in that box. I laid them all out on a table and was floored at how many blends there were.

Shaintiques, I appreciate the offer. I have a friend of my brothers in Portland I can ship to. I just need to ask.
Between the 95% (on MSRP) tobacco tax and the shipping idiocy, Washington is straight crap. If it weren't for our amazing sports teams and my gorgeous bride, I would write this whole damn state off.

1Q! Amazed that was your first choice. Don't get me wrong it is a good tobacco and the best seller in the U S I believe but I think I have smoked my last bowl of it. Glad to see you diving right in though.

Patrick, thanks for the illuminating verbosity. Much appreciated. I don't like it when the box goes quiet, I like to know what folks are enjoying (or not). Feel free to empty any bags with only a bowl or so left. Although the mylar ESD bags are a great improvement over standard food baggies, the ziploc seals are not always airtight, and small amounts of baccy will still dry out sometimes. So kill them before they die.

Sorry I wasn't more vocal about the box. :(
I was pretty busy with wedding, work, and playoffs. I DID manage to make the cover of last sunday's paper!

Ok Patrick, I have a little less than an ounce of 1-Q in my stock, and your experience alone is prompting me to dig it out, and see what I missed with the first few bowls I smoked.

Well the Revelation is all rehydrated and just in time. I was asked by a friend to sell a big lot of tins he inherited due to a broken pipe situation, but in the lot was an 8oz bag of Esoterica Pembroke that had been opened and dried out so I am rehydrating it and will put a sample of this in the box. The bag was dated 1999.

No none have been pulled yet. I kept back a few tins from the lot for myself and am just paying him outright for them. Also I won't just be added reydrated stuff to the box. I have got a pretty big selection of fine tobaccos to choose from.

So I'm rehydrating the Pembroke and I have to say that the room note is similar to the entrails of a freshly gutted deer. That being said many foul smelling tobaccos taste wonderful so perhaps this will be one of those. I will have to out a big sample in the box so you guys can decide.

Sigh. I missed all the rehydrated stuff.
Glad they haven't pulled those auctions. That topic was all the rage about a week ago.

You will find a few interesting things in the 'Box Pass' other than the obligatory Condor plug and packet of ready rubbed that I gave Dan when he was last visiting me in NY as I thought everyone could with a few interesting things from Europe.
