That's actually a very good point Skylonrow. I think that anything over 200g would be taxed on the way into the UK and judging by the size of the boxpass box going round at the moment it would be considerably over that lol.

Maybe this is something we can do for the UK members of this site, i know there are a few of us but not sure how many?

I like the idea of an across-the-pond box pass; perhaps set up a paired buddy system of 1 US / 1 EU person to keep the box at 200g. I wouldn't mind the cost of this experiment at all.

My list of wants keeps changing all the time, seems there is a lot more choice in the US than the UK. But so far my wants would be:
Troutstream

And as above, a selection of the Boswell Tobaccos.
Not sure how strict the US are on tobacco being sent over though. Seems like all the UK online stores have a note saying that they can no longer ship to the US? Does anyone know why??
If there's not a problem then maybe we should setup a US > UK and UK > US ordering system
