Sorry I don't have the pipe with me at the moment. It is a hairline crack that is at the shank opening. From inside the hole to outside the shank. About a half inch long approx.

:( I did get a pretty good deal. It doesn't leak but the stem is a little looser than it should be.

What is the shape of the shank in cross-section? Round, diamond, oval, etc. Also, is the pipe small, medium, or large in size?
Asking because most shanks can be banded, but not all. And of the ones that can't, some can be internally banded, but not all.

The soonest I can post photos is sometime tomorrow. It is a small pipe about 6 inches long and a round shank.
