My package arrived before the new years long weekend, it’s a PMSS miracle! I have company over for a little while so I can’t sneak away to open it up, but I’ll be updating shortly. What a fantastic surprise, I’m thrilled!

I’ve been saying since the start that the real joy of PMSS is in the giving, not the receiving, but the joy of receiving this trove of absolute killer blends is pretty hard to beat! This is a beautiful mix of some of my all time favorite blends, and blends that I’ve been looking to try for ages! I could not have received a better spread even if I bought it myself.
The card was even better, with tasting notes and descriptions of the blends. Thank you very much @TN Jed, I’m humbled by the generosity and I have thoroughly annoyed my family and company gushing about this thoughtful and wonderful gift. I don’t know where to start!
I just got back to Pennsylvania and need to post a picture of my Secret Santa present from @Sobrbiker . I was thinking about getting dressed up in a seasonal suit and doing a photo and/or video for your amusement, but am leaning toward not bothering with that. More to come.

Well, I just opened my present from @Sobrbiker and have a wide grin plastered across my face. Included in my Pipes Magazine Secret Santa box:
A vacuum sealed bag of 50 grams of Dan Tobacco Devil’s Holiday (one of my favourite aromatics)—this is from 2017, which I’ve never had—I’m looking forward to tasting this!
A vacuum sealed bag of 40 grams of Edward G. Robinson from 2022 (this is another aromatic that I enjoy!)
A tin of Sutliff Pipe Force V (my favourite of the three releases so far) and I am very happy to have more of it.
A tin of Mac Baren HH Balkan, a blend I haven’t had yet, but have been wanting to try!
A leather pipe stand (which will come in handy as I always need a place to put my pipe that’s in use around the house), signed by Sobrbiker on the inside:
An “Inert NY Legal Tamper” made from a Colt 45 round was wrapped in paper and loaded in the chamber of the pipe (I loved this touch):
And last, but not least, my “Make Briar Lee Jealous” starter kit—a Marxman Belge with some beautiful Birdseye (perhaps, my favourite kind of grain). This is my first Belge shape and I am still smiling.
As I mentioned previously, I love the drawing of the Christmas tree on the note.

I’m so glad to hear the presents were well received, the pleasure’s all mine!
I was very nervous knowing the extent of both your pipe and tobak selections that my offerings would fall short.
I cleaned up the Marxman but hadn’t smoked it. The counselor from Humansville stated it was the finest grain he’d seen on any Marxman.
The pipe stand was made from the same leather/at the same time as the holster I made for my 45 Colt that I reload the rounds for.
