I wonder whether the ouroborian character of this phenomenon may lead to an implosion. It's like a family tree in some parts of WV -- the sort that looks like a telephone pole; or, like tourism to see the history of tourism in a Rick Steves episode on the 17th century Grand Tour .

Self-referential inside jokes are usually born of happy accidents (e.g. som besths) and have a finite shelf life, and although these things by definition cannot be planned, we could plan new opportunities on which such happy accidents (and ensuing inside jokes) may or may not happen. For instance, a PMSS Zoom meeting, or some sort of in-thread game, etc.

If nothing else, criticisms of these suggestions can pad the page count that much more, and for that you are welcome.
The ouroborian Grinch that stole Som Besths!
Edit: Full disclosure I had to google ouroborian.
Edit: Most of my world history comes from Rick Steves but I am from Tennessee after all.

My daughter just told me she got a notice from Etsy that there is a postal strike in Canada. Is that true? Could possibly be an issue if so.
Yes, but these were sent out week's ago and would have gotten to the US by then.

This may be an issue for our Canadian participants moving forward. But what is PMSS without some degree of unexpectedness?

I actually love Rick Steves so much. Not that he doesn't have his flaws -- but they're sort of endearing.

(True Story: I once bumped into him, literally, in the Eagle & Child in Oxford.)

I used to live in France and I traveled throughout a good bit of Europe. I found Rick Steves after I returned to the states but I love watching his episodes to learn and see the history. It's cool to show my family places I've visited. He has a pleasant manner and is easy to listen to.
