Merry Christmas and Happy Som Besths! A package arrived at the homestead this eve, from a Secret Santa in a location other than the North Pole. Oh my, what could it be?
Upon opening the faint smell of latakia and virginias wafted through the air, sending youngs and gals scurrying away. (Okay the exact opposite happened as all were eager to “help” open the box!)
And inside were joyous tins filled to the brim with burleys, virginias, cavendishes, orientals, and latakias! Oh my Secret Santa went above and beyond and must have fallen into a vat of liquid som besths as included are some truly generous and thoughtful treats!
- Plum Pudding, Special Reserve! Woah this is hands down my favorite blend!!!
- Hogshead! Here is a blend of superior virginias I have been wanting to try as my palette has been into virginias of late. Exceptional choice!
- Cobblestone Plum Rum. An entirely new blend I have not heard of, but it sounds exquisite and I am excited to crack it open!
- Krampusnacht!!! Oh me oh my, oh boy! I was bemoaning that I did not get the last drop of Cringle Flake and to my surprise it has arrived from Secret Santa, only in the limited packaging!! Unbelievable!!! Only a true secret santa would be able to get this unique offering!
- And that is not all, no! Included as well is a fancy Christmas Zippo, and flints! I love my zippo lighter as it holds up well to the Indiana winds, and so this is a welcome edition and very much appreciated. The design is tremendous as well! Warms my heart when things state Merry Christmas (just a personal thing)!!!
- And then, of course a smoking vessel in the form of a handsome Missouri Meerchaum cob, wow!! This cob holds very well and looks great with the amber stem!
A huge thank you to my Secret Santa for their thoughtful, generous, Sutliff oriented, smoky, and som besths spirit gifts!!!!
A merry Christmas to you all!
