After reading through a few years of their posts I came to the realization that my SS match basically never posts anything about their tobacco preferences.
That said - I’ve put together a collection of crap that is ready to be sent. I’m just waiting for a last minute item to arrive so I can toss it in with the afore mentioned crap.

I did a bit of research last week. Today, I pawed through the cellar and sorted out the largesse I will be sending shortly. For sure, I will include a couple of sealed tins, plus some bulk 14-year-old Virginia, long out of production. That's what I have so far; still rummaging.
Wow. I thought we were supposed to send a tin or two.
Send what you can afford and abide to send. For some here, that’s more than others and no one holds a gun to their head to do so, trust me they enjoy it.
You’ve no idea the dedication it took for me to save used pipe cleaners and two tins’ worth of stanky dottle…but in the spirit of Som Besths, it is an endeavor I’m pleased to have undertaken.
Recon done. Cellar foraged. Items gift wrapped. Box selected. Box hermetically sealed (prevent latakia from escaping) and made to look like it was from Aunt Doris to her nephew Jimothy with new Christmas sweater and matching socks included. And now the box is in the possession of the postal pony express. Fly fly fly!
Two cheap tins is the standard. Some people choose to give more than the standard, but nobody expects to receive more than the standard.
Mine is packaged and hope to get it out before I fly to Iceland
