Being a lifer reminds me of the negative connotation "Lifer" has in the military services.

I just need another 1,492 posts before I can request my own special title.

In prision it means you are sentenced to life without parole. But I guess thats pretty obvious

How many posts before the “Lurker” goes away under my username? It sounds so negative - I just want to be a “might stick around” guy.

The real question is will you be around long enough to get your own title Eventually, my understanding is at a million posts your title allows you to join the House of Lords when you then become a Pipe god, LOL.
