So My Birthday is Coming Up

I was thinking about a cob pipe to go with my briar. I'd also like to try some Five Brothers. I may be able to squeeze that into my $15 range.

Forbidden Fruit - Mixing Blends Together.

I recently received some Altadis aromatic and mixed it with my Largo Original. It improved the taste a bit. I also plan on taking pinches here and there from future tobaccos and throw them into a jar until it's full. I tend to experiment a bit.

    Improving Largo Orignal taste.

I found a place here in town with an assortment of Captain Black blends, I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on those? So far I'm seeing that the White blend is pretty well liked. I tend to like a sweeter taste.

What Kind of Clay to Use?

I'm wanting to build an english clay pipe and was wondering what type of clay I would use? Also do I need a bowl insert (non-clay) or a separate material for the mouth peice?

    Improving Largo Orignal taste.

I picked up some Largo Original 1/2oz, And it didn't taste bad... However it didn't taste good. And being the experimenter I'am, I took to the kitchen. The tobacco was a bit on the wet side so I popped it in the oven at 200f for about 5 minutes. I then added 2 tsp of vanilla extract, 4 pinches...

Howdy, I'm new here and fairly new to pipes. However, I've been a wood worker for quite awhile now and like to experiment with finishes.
