Lucite, Amber, Bakelite Stem restoration
I know we can soak Vulcanite stem into OxiClean or bleach for restoration. But will that be safe to soak Lucite, Amber, Bakelite Stem into them? Recently saw that on eBay. It was very nice and cheap, so I bought it. Today, after I open the parcel, I find out that this pipe is....strange. Can someone please tell me what kind of filter is that and why is this corncob pipe looks so strange? :worship: -
Tobacco suddenly goes out
Thanks for the video. I think it is kind of the same as "the Frank method" (loose tobacco as the bottom and tight tobacco as the top). But I really like the way how he fills the bowl. So cool!!!!!!!!- kennyjo

+1 piperl12 very nice point indeed.... I have heard people complaining about the black finish even for the Peterson Ebony. They claimed that the black paint caused the wood of the pipe not able to "breath". And I believe in that (from the experience of playing bass guitar). One more thing...- kennyjo

Best way to fix a burnt rim?
If the burnt is not too serious, I have heard people suggested using saliva to clean that. I have tried that, the result is okay. But for heavier burnt, this method is not that useful....- kennyjo
