I picked up this tin at the Vegas show this year from 2005 and it is amazing. Wish I had more. Rough edges are completely gone. Has a creamy sweetness that fresh doesn’t have for me. I’m not necessarily a fan of all aged tobacco. Sometimes red va gets mushy and I prefer it to have some zap etc...- spearheadbill

I have had a couple pipes now and I enjoy it. It’s a very strong full flavor dark fired and not as “aromatic” as I had thought from some of the things i had read. I wouldn’t even call it aromatic.- spearheadbill

How Long do Lakeland Toppings Last When Cellared?
It holds up just fine and the tobacco itself just seems to improve. I have Bracken Flake from 2005 still in original tins that were stored undisturbed and are magnificent.
