    RESEARCH - Bond Street Match

Legacy Vintage - Old Mariner by Middleton

I'm on a long term mission researching a number of legacy, vintage, codger blends. AKA old general store / grocery store blends. The purpose is adding many to my shop recipe book in Alaska, but also to capture the history for a possible book in the future. I'll be posting about once every few...

    KENTUCKY CLUB MIXTURE

Great contribution. would you ever part with some of the original? I'm a blender and would love the original to match practice in blending. I've smoked plenty of codger blends, but never had the chance on that one.

Forest & Stream vs Field & Stream

Thank you. I had seen many adverts and no shortage of empty tins, but this is Intersting. I’m so curious what this stuff was in content. Perhaps just a burley or bright VA, or could it have been something cased or topped with a flavor.

Forest & Stream vs Field & Stream

I just ordered some Field and Stream (match). Never had it before but hopefull of that blend. Hoping it has the Anise / liquorice note like the old version did. As for Forest and STREAM, I’m on an endless pursuit to find some of that old stuff to evalyae…most curious about it.

    Forest and Stream

I too am on a mission to study this historic blend. I see this is an old thread but it's always worth trying to wake it up and stir things up a bit. I think this blend was Canadian by Imperial Canada as was shared by another member on my separate thread on this site. I was quite surprised that...

Forest & Stream vs Field & Stream

Does anyone know the history of these? Are they they same or was their a name change back in the day? I know what ”Field & Stream” is, but I cannot find any information on “Forest & Stream”. Just a lot of empty tins on eBay for the latter. No trace of forest and stream notes of any kind on...
