    Season and Selection(s)

Usually I go for heavy Latakias and other English's, however around December I feel the need to smoke Golden Days Of Yore...Christmas Spice...then come January I'm right back on the norm

    That's It I Quit!

As usual, I was a bit late to this conversation.... I've read some great advice here for your situation from drying more to drawing slower and they are all great suggestions. I have about 2 pipes in my collection that always like to "gurgle" and I was able to stop this by 1. Switching those two...

    Casing

For VA's I love a nice vanilla case and for Burley's I enjoy either cocoa or coffee. For Turkish or Orientals, I prefer these in English blends so I say no casing

    A Sweet Blend

EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) The other day i was in the mood for a sweet desert type of smoke.....so, i blended 75% Half and Half with 25% Sutliff Creme Brule. A nice change from the normal dark fired English blends i have been smoking.

    Hello from Ft Myers Fl

Hello fellow pipe smokers! Just discovered this site and hope to learn even more on pipes. I am mostly a churchwarden smoker with an occasional smoke on my Royal Demuths for easier travel (churchwardens in public get some funny looks!). My tobacco selections have been mild ranging from Half and...
