Whatever takes my fancy on the day, irregardless of weather or season.

We're very fortunate in Sydney, Oz that even in mid-winter, the temperatures are more than bearable.

The summer is more challenging - heat and high humidity is more likely to keep me indoors and forego a smoke.

I appreciate the way the weather/temp/humidity/season changes etc affect a smoke, but do not so much choose my blends because of the season.

Only thing that is seasonal in my life - I wear Jackets, coats, gloves, ear muffs, etc… in the winter

I even drive a car with summer tires in the winter

I tend to reach for heavier lat blends in the cooler weather than I do in the summer. I smoke latakia blends all year round, mind - I just reach for fuller ones in the winter.

Usually I go for heavy Latakias and other English's, however around December I feel the need to smoke Golden Days Of Yore...Christmas Spice...then come January I'm right back on the norm

Doesn't matter the season for me. I just grab what matches my mood at the time. I might try to pair my tobacco and drink though. Say bourbon with an English blend or red wine with something that has fruit notes.

I seem to prefer Burley in the summer and Virginia in the winter/colder months.
Something about the crisp,fresh, cold winter air for me compliments Virginia blends ( to my liking ).

I'm still too new to this hobby to contemplate seasonal shifts in preference but I do have preferences with booze and beer. Summer is gin time (martinis, gimlets, tonics etc) or lagers and pilsners. Winter is whiskey time (Rye, bourbon, Irish, neat or in manhattans, brooklyns, ol fansions) or stouts, dopplebocks. Spring and fall I mix it up depending on the day. Wine year round (reds) year round and ales year round. For food, winter is comfort food time and summer is grilling and seafood time
