Dunhill group 1 S Dublin. Hot bowl

Guys, thanks for the replies so far. Very much appreciated. I will take some pics in a few days ( I work away from home). It really is a lovely little pipe and being honest, I hadn’t considered drying the tobacco or the thickness of the bowl. Food for thought.

Dunhill group 1 S Dublin. Hot bowl

Good afternoon esteemed fellow pipe men. I recently bought a lovely little Dunhill from a well known online auction site for just over £20. To say I was chuffed would be an understatement. It had plainly been left to fend for itself for a few years as the stem was oxidised and full of gunk...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2020?***

Smoking Skiff Mixture by Samuel Gawith with a Meerschaum. I have found much to my delight, that if I let the tobacco dry for half an hour or so before lighting, the taste is altered quite a bit. Lots of sweet Virginia with lovely spicy interludes of Latakia. Will be buying more for sure

    Identifying a Pipe

Would any of the more knowledgeable within the group be able to identify the maker of the pipes in the pic shown? I particularly like the pipe at the top of the image and would love to be able to buy one if possible. Many thanks in advance guys.

    Hello from Dorset UK

Good morning all. Just a newbie saying hello. I have been a pipe smoker for 3 years with a bit of a penchant for estate Dunhills and some of the older Fribourg and Treyer pipes. Used to love to smoke Dunhills London Mixture but alas, it has gone out of production. Currently smoking Charatan...
