I have a Vauen Quixx and a Peterson belgique for very short smokes.
but usually I fill a smaller Pete (312, 12.5 s) halfway or I just smoke a bigger bowl in several sittings (DGT is your friend)
I leave mine in a dry place (not in the cellar) in the original packaging. It’s very dry in order to avoid mold. Due to the lack of moisture and airtight packaging and the type of tobacco it will not evolve a lot like other tobaccos.

First hour fat down to protect the meat , then up (also after wrapping).
But I still have a lot of learning/experimenting to do. A few months before temperatures will be good enough to practice again
