***What Are You Smoking, November 2021?***

Count Pulaski, Sutliff, in a Comoy's pot.

    Sutliff Orchard Mist Crumble Cake

I picked up 2 tins because it seemed as though it could have potential. But the name is regrettable. It sounds like a bad wine spritzer. Have now read a handful of reviews, all have had favorable responses to the blend. Looking forward to trying it when the tins arrive.

    Peterson Carroll Of Carrollton Pipes.

I'd be interested in buying it. PM sent.

Help Identifying a Pipe Please & Thank You!

    I have a couple S&R pipes--a bulldog & a pot. Both smoke beautifully.

    Is It Just Me????

Recently had a package returned to sender because my address wasn't right. Sender checked with me, my address was correct. So he sent agian, and this time it arrived without a glitch. Most of the time the USPS is ok. But when it's bad--whoo! I've had a couple empty packages arrive too--those are...

    Warped/C&D Blend - The Haunting

@burleyboy, I think they're doing 'diabolical' etc. on purpose to tie in with the Halloween season--in the interview at SP.com they did refer specifically to this 'halloween' release, in terms of the season. So they're probably going after a little of the spooky factor. :) But again, I kind of...

    Pipe Smoking in Middle-Earth Ridiculousness.

It's not $88 cool, unless you're really into Tolkien & pipes & enjoy owning books, etc. For that cross-over aficionado I can absolutely see someone buying it for $88 & not having remorse about it. But for a couple hundred? It's a reeeelly slender volume. You'd have to absolutely want it.

    Warped/C&D Blend - The Haunting

I'm curious about it! Also, after listening to Smokingpipe's interview about this new blend, am I right in thinking this may be a seasonally released offering? Each fall this may roll around? What was your take on it?

    Pipe Smoking in Middle-Earth Ridiculousness.

Those prices are awful. As others have said, with patience I've been able to find much wallet-friendlier prices. Free market and all, but still. Ouch.

Stick, I'd be really interested in how you feel your Potlatch turns out. I like that blend a lot and would like hear your thoughts on how it changed, etc.

Great News for Fans - Gawith Hoggarth & Samuel Gawith!

If/When they do restore the original building and use it as an exhibition center/history tour/visitor center--I'd really like to see that. Also hoping this means the US market will see oddball items. I want to try Palace Gate and some others that might not be top shelf smokes, but they sound...

    Favorite Youtube Tobacco Reviewer

I like Derek Tant's YouTube videos. He covers a range of piping topics, gives impressions of tobacco blends, reviews pipes, talks about life as a pipe smoker. Funny, high-energy guy. Bremen, as mentioned earlier is an interesting watch. He has access to blends that are tricky to find in N...

    Negative Customer Psychology

Do it all the time. And if during the time I'm hemming and hawing, someone else snaps that pipe up and it disappears from my cart, I console myself with 'it wasn't meant to be.' :)

Another Italian Pipe Shipment Hit With Customs and Duties Charges.

For whatever reason, I'd long assumed that it was the shipping in of Int'l tobacco that was an issue for customs, not tobacco pipes.

    Why smoke a pipe?

Agreed. And also, I find such beauty in pipes--the history of shapes. I'm fascinated by what shapes strike a chord with certain people. (For me, it's primarily zulus and smaller bowled pipes). The current wizardry with tobacco blends is also alluring--although I've now cellared more tobacco than...
