    Estate Pipes for Smoking

I know that when looking at estate pipes it is most tempting to pick up the newest looking pipes first, but I have come to the conclusion that the best smokers are the ones that look the worst before I restore them. Does Any have this experience?

In another post I said I got it for $10 but actually got it, a Alpha Calabash, and a Hardcastle poker all for $20 and all in very good shape. I finally got to try the Wiley today. I don't know what to call the shape, it is like a large...

    Wiley

Hi guys. I'm new to the site and hope this is not a redundant question but I just picked up a Wiley pipe at a flea market for $10 it does not need restoring just cleaned and shined up. Does a oil cured pipe need to be treated different from a regular pipe.
